With the family moving to Singapore soon, we though it would be good to take thegirls out to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.  Aside from some ridiculous security (which delayed us so much we coulnd't see Ellis Island at all), it was a good side trip.

But it wasn't all education.  Well, maybe it was.  Papa was determined that Zoe would leave New Jersey with all his accumulated wisdom and knowledge of sledding.  (There's a big need for that in Singapore.)  She did have a great time, though.  Of course, sledding is something in motion, so you'll have to look at the movies:  Zoe on her own  and Big Sister shows McKenna the ropes

Of course there was lots of reading with Nana	And Zoe had a blast when she went on a pony ride with Papa.

It really was a very special family time.  Then again, to paraphrase Linus, "That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown."
