Mommy announces that it is time to go to the hospital. Daddy
resists the urge to impersonate Ricky Riccardo, and instead calmly gathers
the necessary equipment. Mr. Bill kindly comes over to watch Zoe
until Grammy can come get her. (Zoe had a practice sleep-over on
Saturday night, so she was ready for this one.)
Here's Mommy in the hospital.

To borrow an expression,
"And Then A Miracle Occurs..."
Labor was only slightly over 5 hours long, active pushing was 15
minutes. (Zoe was 8h /ap 30 min).
McKenna was basically delivered by the nursing staff. The doctors
were in another room doing a C-section.
No epidural, very little drugs. McKenna, you've got one tough
Mommy!

After exactly 36 hours in the hospital, Kath was ready to go home.
(She could have stayed one more night, but really wanted to go somewhere
she could actually rest. :-)

I'm stunned at how great Kath looks, so quickly after this whole thing
is warpped up.
(OK, so the hardest part is just starting, but still, she looks GREAT!!)
