Even with another one on the way, life continues at the Smith-Kuhn household. Some highlights of recent goings-on:

This morning, Zoe came to get me when I was done taking a shower.
She asked,
"Can we have pancakes for breakfast? I got everything ready."
Indeed she had.
I came out to find that she'd gotten out the pancake mix, a mixing
bowl, the maple
syrup, a whisk to mix it, and a spoon to make the pancakes. Wolfgang,
watch out.
(Hey, it's either that, or I-HOP. Which one would you be hoping
for? )

3 August 2001
We celebrated Daddy's birthday (albeit a day early.)
The day started with a big breakfast.
Nana and Papa have been visiting, and Uncle Bob came in too.
(We wish Aunt Kathy could have made it too, but we understand!)
The men-folk went to play golf. We can't print the trash talk
here,
but there was plenty of it. In the end, though, the match was
darn
near dead even. Probably the only outcome that would preserve
the peace. :-)
Later that night, we had a BBQ and birthday gathering for Daddy.
Zoe was master of ceremonies, and also handled face painting.
.
.
All up, it was a pretty great day.

Daddy has been building a sewing
cabinet. Actually, he's making two-
one for Grammy and one for Mommy. Zoe is a big help when it comes
to gluing operations.
