So it's no secret that I'm a sucker for family time. I love getting together with family. We're always pleased when Nana and Papa can fly out and spend some time with us. (We're also greatful that all those years in the military conditioned the Kuhn clan to living in cramped quarters! :-) Attached are some highlights of the most recent Kuhn clan cross-country campaign.(As always, I have the hi-res versions of these pics if someone wants a printer-friendly version)
Train Ride
8 April 2000Kath found a great little railroad to visit. It's tucked into the Santa Cruz mountains (and, ironically, is onyl about 300 yards from a bridge where I used to do some work for SonicForce!!) Here they are, basking in the cool spring air...

It was a really neat day. We got out, Zoe loved the train (for the first ten minutes), and we really had a nice time of it. Doug even dragged everyone to his favorite hamburger stand for lunch. Of course he kept reminiscing about how he couldn't afford a hamburger back then, but that's another story.

Zoe zips to the Zoo And no visit with the grandparents is complete without a trip to the Zoe -- I mean Zoo. In this case, it's Happy Hollow, Zoe's favorite Zoo.
