Making an Entrance
(March 2000)

 
We've always hated our front door.  In March, Ed helped me install a new door.  It looks great, and the window really allows us to get some natural light in the hallway (where it used to be really dark and depressing.)

Installing it was quite an ordeal, and I'm not sure I'd take it on myself again.  At least not for the front hallway like this.

And the fancy handle that adds some class
I eventaully completed the stucco work (which you can see above, by the handle), and installed a nice new mailbox (which you can't see above, because it wasn't done when the picture was taken). It all looks pretty good, but I still have some trim work to do inside.  Sigh... the list never ends.
